Here we go....
I love playtime in the rain. The kids think I am the coolest Mom ever when I tell them they can be out in the downpour.

Brandon began taking classes for his MBA just over a year ago. He is in class one to two nights a week depending on the semester. On class nights, the kids and are on our own for dinner. These were some silly moments at Wendy's that had me smiling.
Connor, Kylee and I bathed Buster one evening. Hard to know who ended up more soaked.
Another class night. The kids and I went to Target and had a lot of fun browsing:
This picture was a must. Brandon sported this exact style of watch in grade school. Connor thought it was pretty cool to see a style like what Daddy wore when he was little. |
In July, Aunt Mandy and Uncle Jordan moved to Liberty. This was very exciting for us because we've never had family in town. Mandy is starting Nursing school at William Jewell in January, so she and Jordan moved to be closer to campus. Since they've moved, Jordan has now started working at an Admissions counselor at Jewell. Could I be any more thrilled? The answer is no. :)
Here is a picture I snapped of Jordan on the porch of the house that he and Mandy are renting. It is just a few minutes from Jewell and will be super convenient for them. We've loved having them closer!
Kylee participated in our Church's VBS this summer. This is Kylee and her good friend Grace after the VBS program. They made their own shirts and had a great time showcasing the songs they'd learned for the congregation at Church.
This dress (a birthday gift from the Chases a year ago) should probably have its own post. This is Hadley's VERY, VERY FAVORITE piece of clothing. As you can see, it is starting to unravel at the hem because she has worn it so often. She watches her laundry basket closely and has it back on the MINUTE I have it washed. She has also been known to dig it out of the dirty clothes and try to wear it. It is an institution:
Pooped out princess:
Playdates with Lizzy are an absolutely favorite for Hadley. This moment was too cute not to capture:
Kylee and I attempting to make our own peanut butter and jelly cups. A Pinterest project. It ended up making a complete mess (see Exhibit A below) but the end product was pretty good.
It is photos like these that trigger good memories of life's every day celebrations. Thanks for looking!
