Random Winter Happenings

We celebrated my birthday with a tour of The Roasterie in downtown KC, MO.  The girls opted to go to a friend's house to play, but Connor, who has declared a love of coffee, joined us on the adventure.  The tour was free....if you're a KC native and you haven't gone, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.  Pretty cool stuff!

A highlight of the spring was Aunt Mandy (and baby Olivia...in utero) starting Nursing school.  I was her Professor in her very first Nursing course, Health Assessment.  Kylee was so excited to come up to campus and be Aunt Mandy's "patient" one day as students prepared for their head-to-toe assessments.  Mandy is going to be a great nurse!
